Tony Bullimore

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anybody has heard the really sad news of the death of Mr. Tony Bullimore. I think he passed away about 3 weeks ago from cancer. I thought he was a really nice man, and of course he made the headlines when his boat turned turtle in the Southern ocean. May he rest in peace.

He got quite a TV news mention here in Perth (Oz) as he became a bit of an honorary citizen after his rescue in Southern Ocean and return to Fremantle. Sad to see his passing but you would have to say he had a full life. ol'will

There was a drama documentry made about the rescue which showed the part the Australian air force took in it.
