Take a close look at the pictures. This is someone that admitted shaving his keel and then it broke off!
First picture shows a turnbuckle on the end of its adjustment (Port side). For me that would be replaced immediately and the cause of the miss-calculation or stetch found.
The saddle going down over the spar and the pin down by the A frame base looks distorted already. To me it looks a poorly made stainless saddle. It should have had the forces nearer the ends of the big pin and just a spacer in compression around the pin. Trying to stop a pin distorting with small webs is not the way I would do it.
