So after 4 months of evening classes, SWMBO's got her Day Skipper theory exam tonight. Anyone know if it''s a toughie or what this year?

Is she going to be happy when she gets home or am I going to suffer 'cos it was all my idea?

She wont know wether shes passed tonite, The syllabus dont change much from year to year in as much a how difficult it is. Probably the usual mix of ploting things on charts, tide type questions, light type questions, and the usual sort of stuff...... How come your wiffy will do it and mine wont.

Actually she got the results tonight and passed. So of course that's 'cos she's really clever, nothing at all to do with the hours I spent over the weekend going through old papers with her.

So now she wants to be in charge of the navigation.

Looks like we'll be going on some long journeys this year.

Congratulations Christine. I did it a few years ago but I still can't remember the lights; fishing vessel trawling, fishing vessel fishing, sail boat under steam, skipper pissed difficulty in maneouvring ...... I give up.
