Made the mistake of changing to a global sat Bluetooth GPS from fixed /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
In GPS info the position is fixed, port 8 and 38400, great signal even in doors.
I have paired the units too
When I switch to Tom tom and do the wizard, other BT GPS, and port 8
Hey Presto no signal

works fine in memory map too with charting software.
Any experience would be appreciated

you may need to select a serial GPS connection rather than BT GPS, that is what I had to do

found that, thanks, then it would not display the NMEA for the cable connection, so connected the cable and it let me select the baud rate , sorted thanks,

for those trying this you configure the BT GPS and then go back and configure the cable GPS with the baud rate you need, of course you would
