Tompa marine

A very big thank you to Tom of Tompa Marine.

Tom accompanied me on my first sea trial on Evenstar and has been there throughout the whole of the purchase process working for initially myself and then on behalf of Mark (Ellasar).

His dedication and professionalism are of the highest standards and had always offered a honest and accurate assessment of any issues he found.

Parts were sourced promptly, at reasonable cost and installed within a very tight schedule and on occasion was able to attend Evenstar at very short notice to help resolve any problems we came across.

I think Tom is a very rare find and would recommend anyone in the Solent area to contact him for either Mercruiser or Volvo Penta work and be safe in the knowledge that the work will be completed on time.

We have moved our boat to Brixham and fortunately for us Tom has clients in Dartmouth so will be using Tompa Marine for future servicing and unplanned repairs in the future.

Once again Tom many thanks for all of your hard work with Evenstar and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

If this is the guy that used to work for Southwater Marine then I am not surprised, always had good service from him and wouldn't mind using his services in future.

Do you have a number for him perhaps - might do everyone good to share it here?

If it is Tom formerly of Southwater then yes absolutely agree with everything said about his workmanship. We use him for all our servicing etc. I have his number if it is the same Tom.

yes it is Tom ex of Southwater and I've seen him on lisilou.

He is murcuryman on this forum, pm him if you need him.

Tompa Marine is mercuryman of this parish and Tom from ex Southwater.

I've been using him years. You won't find a nicer, more dedicated, knowledgable, solid man than Tom.

He is a true find and is the only man I'll let near my boat with a spanner.
