Tomos 4 hp tuning

Hello guys, I know a guy who has an old 60cc 2 stroke Tomos 4 hp outboard engine that I'd like to buy. I made almost every motorized vehicle that I got my hands on faster so I would like to make the Tomos engine faster as well. I'm familiar with these engines, I had the same one on my Puch mv50 moped. Even though the engine is almost the same and I know how to make it go from 4 hp to 6 hp at a higher rpm I have no idea if this will make it faster or just louder and less fuel efficient because the prop isn't made for higher speeds. Reading about this just makes me even more confused, I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how it should be done.

You could make it more powerful but making it faster would be prop dependant. I suspect those small outboards have a generic prop not optimised for any particular boat or situation, I also suspect the choice of alternative props will be very small.
