I have a day off tomorrow, I shall be leaving Hamble late morning, dependant on weather, maybe either Cowes/Folly/Yarmouth/Lymington/Gun Wharf for lunch.

If any one wants to join me, pm for my moby number as I have no radio (but dont tell H1)

I know its wrong and I should not do it, But the radio is kept in a locker when Im not on
the boat, Whats wrong with that you say!
Well it tends to spend most of the summer there,

Can never hear the VHF over the noise of 180HP Sabre in my right ear. Radio is always on 16, maintaining a listening watch as required by rools and regs though.

Can't hear the mobile either.

In this way I managed to obtain some peace and quiet on my days off.

TOO LATE!!

Still - I survived trip with BurgundyBen from Chichester to the Hamble on a bank holiday Monday, and I'm still breathing and the boat didn't sink (yet).

I put it down to the fact that the Sabre emits worse smells than BB (up or down wind).
