Tollesbury saltings. Wots it like?

Right, sorry about this chaps(eses), but continuing my search for an affordable 'walk aboard' home for Alex, the Missusi and I visited the Saltings today. Lovely place with a vague piraty feel to it. Fits the bill in many ways but thought I would consult the collected wisdom here. Anyone live there? What's it like?
