Tokio Marine Insurance

Shopped around for an alternative quote to current insurers.
Was offered a quote from Tokio Marine never come across them before.
Has anyone heard of them and any experience of the after sales service especially claims?
My current insurance agreed value Tokio market value so not like for like and appears a lower level of insurance cover.
Just wondering who they are .

Have you tried looking at the FCA website ? Might give you some info on them or ask your broker .More importantly you might want to see who handles their claims in UK .

Never heard of them, but according to Wikipedia they're pretty big - "largest property/casualty insurance group in Japan", part of Mitsubishi, and founded in 1879.

Of course that doesn't necessarily imply anything about their UK claims service.
