Hello folks, Happy new year to you all.
I'm starting my new year by starting work on the boat well before the usual week before launch date, and high on the list of priorities is a comfortable toilet, rather then the current Jabsco I have now, where as a larger lad that I am, struggle to fit in and sorry about this, when it comes to wiping, contact can be made.
So new toilet would have to have a household size bowl.

Can anyone recommend a good size toilet and a place to buy online?
I have no Chandlers near me and the closest (gaelforce) only have the jabsco regular bowl as the largest. Which I think isn't that much bigger than the jabsco one I currently have.
Looking on the net I found a company called LeeSan, but have never heard of them before.
Being electric appeals to me aswell, as so far I have never found the manual ones to be troublefree, so I cant see the electric ones being any worse.
Toilet is raw water fed and will be pumped out not to a tank.

JAbsco do a version with a normal housejhold size pan as well as the more common 'compact. we had an electric conversion one that had failed when we bought the boat, thought long and hard about a proper electric one like wot we had on the motor yacht we lived on for a year before going back to sail. Finally decided on the KISS principle to stick to manual and bought a brand new Jabsco with the 'twist 'n lock pump and it is excellent. My transom is large and I have no problems with the standard 'compact' bowl and I like the fact that I can buy a complete new pump assembly cheaply enough to carry one as a spare for a ten minute switch out if needs be and a pump rebuild at leisure later. I Bought my new Jabsco on sale here in the USA and IIRC only paid around $80.

29090-3000 Manual 'Twist n' Lock' toilet, compact bowl
Dimensions: - 450mm wide, 410mm deep, 340mm high

29120-3000 Manual 'Twist n' Lock' toilet, regular bowl
Dimensions: - 470mm wide, 480mm deep, 350mm high

Not much wider (20mm) but quite a lot deeper (70mm). Assuming it fits the same base, I may get one.

A Jabsco Regular is actually slightly bigger than many domestic toilets and I thing you will find it is the biggest on the market. Not often fitted as standard because toilet compartments on many boats are too cramped to fit it. So measure carefully before you buy.

Note too tht the bigger bowl displaces the lid's opening arc and height so you need to measure if that would be a problem. In our case the toilet is installed under a very useful hinged fold up fibreglass shower seat and so the dimensions above the bowl/seat were as critical to consider as those at the sides and rear. We had it seemed room enough to install the larger bowl version had we so wished but the top clearance under the shower seat might have caused problems, so we chose in the end to go with the normal smaller bowl as originally installed by Beneteau and subsequently modified with the defunct electric conversion the previous and original owner had installed . WE seriously considered the JABSCO LITEFLUSH leccy model too but had some doubts about it's ability to pump the height up to the top entry of our vertically mounted holding tank. IIRC the manual model was more than cable of pumping that high and a tad more according to the specification whereas the Liteflush leccy model was 'borderline'. The much reduced cost too of the manual Twist 'n Lock model left enough cash over to buy a complete replacement pump assembly to carry as an on board spare
