Has anyone got one of these or one of the Mar/Mer versions? I have recently got this with a boat I bought and the square anode is missing. Fair enough they are only a fiver to buy but what holds it on? I can see a hole but it doesn't appear to be threaded! Cheers.

A little bolt #23 Maybe you will have to cautiously drill it out and tap a thread for the next size up

Previous owner probably sheared the bolt in the hole. Only the inside is threaded. I'd advise against trying to drill out a stainless bolt in an alloy casting, even with a turret drill and never with a hand drill. Talk with Fairweather Marine, they're helpful, practical and Tohatsu experts and have almost certainly had the problem before.

Vic can I ask you where you found that diagram and would it tell the bolt size? By the way there is no broken bolt in the hole.

On the Boats.net website .......... there's a clue in the diagram !

No it does not give the bolt size... just a part number
