Excellent advice guys so I just wanted to add something. I had same problem basically since new, what I did eventually to fix it was I removed the needle on the plunger and noticed a C clip holding it at adjustment, there were 4 possible settings, mine was set at second lowest which is factory set. What I did was lower the c clip to lowest position which basically richens idle mixture!! reassembled it and it ran perfect!!!!!
