Its the annual sponsored all night sail in support of RNLI at Rutland SC. I shall be sharing a friends Jenneau along with my son, and will no doubt be feeling very second hand all day sunday...its usually quite fun (I keep telling myself /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Good luck alf... weather looks all right anyways!

Is there anyway that you can set the boat on AP and then pop ashore for dinner and drinks at Hambelton Hall...... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well we started off with 12 yachts..and when I counted them as the light returned there were only 8 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I think some may well have nipped off to Hambleton Hall.

It was a very quiet night so we used the cruising shute a lot. We covered 34 nm. Top speed recorded 5.8 Knots, Av speed 2.8 Knots. The bilge got flooded as a pipe popped off the cold water supply, and in spite of being tested....(not by me) the Tricolour bulb failed so we had to use the motoring bicolour and an LED Torch taped to the stern.

We ate and drank moderately but convivially.

Big brekky this morn followed by complete collapse. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
