Toast is essential so how do you make toast with an Origo stove?
I agree that toast is essential which was an important consideration in our decision to buy a decent cooker with a grill which was not an Origo.

We also have a 230vac toaster on board so when we go into a marina we can have a toast fest.![]()
That's the way we do it. Loads of toast before we leave our marina and loads when we get back. In between, it's cold turkey.

What's an Origo?![]()
Surely all toast-making has that secondary function?I like the dry frying pan approach. Often means you can stretch the life of sliced bread a few extra days on longer passages of a couple pf weeks.

Surely you have a fair-sized boat with space for a proper cooker?

I've used one of these with some success:

Buy one for each burner and stagger toasting. This sounds like a good idea. A continuous stream of hot unevenly toasted bread/charcoal produced just about as fast as one can eat it. Proper job!
