Can toast be made on an Origo stove
Yes..........................
..............................put bread on dry flat based frying pan, put over high heat, inspect regularly, turn over when appropriate, repeat.....................job done
I used quite a heavy rectangular "boaty" frying pan: it worked well
I have a gas two burner with grill which is ok but there is always the problem of gas leaks. But the stove offered me a choice of grilling stuff and of course toast and assorted add one which I would miss with just a burner, thanks fro info will just have to weigh up the risk of violent deaths .......or toasted cheese!
It'll taste of meths ofcourse but then I guess you'll be used to that if you already have an Origo. I must say I don't miss mine.

Use BandQ Bioethanol. No smell. No taste effects. No problem.
not through a frying pan surely?
D
I remember using one of those back in the '70s. If you wait for about half an hour, you can have the pleasure of eating slightly warm bread with a thin film of charcoal on the surface.Use one of these???
