To Wave or not to Wave (that is the question!)

On the Norfolk Broads I give the raggies a nod. There's not much effort involved and many nod back. If they don't want to be friendly that is not my problem, my day is not spoiled and the unfriendly ones just pass into insifignificance.

I am a new reader of this forum and a sail boat owner about to move to power. I am touchy about the prejudice that I see on both sides, raggie versus mobo (?), so it gladdens my heart to read through the postings to see the repeated message that it looks the same from either side. Each thinks the other does not wave. Sure, some will cut you dead but most have probably not seen you at that moment, got something in their hand or just too plain surprised to do anything. Just keep waving.
