Whatev you use... be very wary of friction at the top of the stick... I nearly took our gennaker down by simply wearing through the hallyard..
That apart we have a symetric, assymetric and gennaker... Have hardly used the symetris.. Prefer the Assy but will use the Gennaker over night.. I rigged a furling system back to the cockpit so I can get rif of it without leaving the comfort zone... The Assy still needs me to go forward....
