I have just bought my new boat which is situated at Avon and bringing this up to my marina. My question is although it has the original gel coat the boat to the best of my knowledge has never been anti fouled or at least perhaps a few years ago. I am ok to anti foul her or would it be a better idea to use a primer first. Lets take it that it has been in fresh water and assume no anti fouling has been done should I start with the primer and then anti foul or just anti foul. Roughly 2 coats and for a 22ft Shetland how much should I buy.Thanks for any advice.
