Tinned Provisions

As I was rowing out to the mooring the other day, to do a bit of maintenance, SWMBO handed me a large bag of tinned food to stow on board. While unpacking it I was surprised and delighted to find that it included a Fray Bentos pie. I don't think she knows of their almost legendary status on here. Is she trying to tell me something?

The act took place well off shore, out of sight of any one who may not of fully understand.

Wuss! A real paassagemaking crew devour one apiece with the tin of potatoes, and the tin of peas shoved in under the lid (which is moved to one side with a knife).

Of course I dont allow that sort of thing except on special occasions. Here is a picture of our Ostend based FB meal, which was prepared because it christened the new boat as the FIRST proper cooked meal on board. We have reverted to our more normal fresh fare again now.

I think it means she has urgent business with the milkman and can't be bothered to brush your hat/cook for you/iron for you any more. You do have a hat, don't you?
