Tinker tramp sail boat

If sailing it, two top tips:

Inflate the outer tubes really hard and set the mast up with 5 degrees forward rake.

I've got a Tramp and a Traveller.

Unsurpassed fun and excellent dinghies. Make sure you lock them up properly when moored.

I agree with the hard inflation and mast rake, and keep sand out of the valves.

There's a company in Lymington who have spares and bits and pieces.

We had a traveller. Don't going sailing when it's windy. The masts snap because they can't lean over being flat bottomed. This happened to mine.
We took ours with us to the Caribbean and the glue holding it together melted. Leaked like a sieve.
Good point were it planned very easily with a 3.5hp one up. It was also easy to squeeze in at a crowded dingy dock being pointy ended!

Thanks for all of your advise, I’m picking it up on Saturday :D won’t get a chance to use it for at least three weeks though as I am having some minor surgery on Monday. I am new to sailing and needed something small as don’t have much space and though it would best suit my needs. Plus I thought I could use it as a tender when I eventually get a cruiser on a swing mooring.
