Last week I contacted a (fairly) local marina, you know the one that says "Oh we have a 4 year waiting list" well apparently that's not so now and they said I could probably get a berth if I wanted one?
Today......I was opening my mail as I have been in the sun for a week whilst you lot have been here in all this cra........ steady-on a bit!! sorry I erm just got a bit carried away.....
Anyway, it seems that (and this makes me laugh) the premier marinas in the North West have a discount for winter berthing, not 10% not 20% but a whacking 50% reduction of their normal extortionate prices.
I wont be taking them up on it as I'm sorted in my little hideaway but somebody may be interested in it! I wonder if those that coughed up in the spring will get some money back.
Now this leads me on to I wonder if "service Care" will become a catch word in the future rather than "If you dont like it"
