You can't. With as much as 54 seconds to go you first need 10 seconds of high drama discussion about how to stop it, (with suitable background music) then 40 seconds of emotional turmoil while you realise just how much you might miss being alive with the person next to you (or the whole city, or world, or universe) and how much therefore depends on your hopeless 50/50 decision (or 33/33/33 if it's a fancy one) then an agonising 3 seconds with your cutters poised on the red wire - then the music stopping, you cutting the blue wire, followed by a long close-up of the 00.00.01 while we all hold our breath in case it hasn't stopped - which of course it has. Cue triumphant music and a big sloppy kiss.

Edit - my apologies, I was being silly - the "agonising 3 seconds" are of course in slow motion, so will take about 10 seconds.

Anyone know how to turn one of these off?

Then you cut the red wire.... it's always the red one which tells you that bomb makers are more predictable than you might think
