Anyone come across this before, I have a raymarine e80 classic plotter and a Raymarine e240 vhf, when I reset the plotter time to BST the vhf stays at UTC and the plotter changes between UTC and BST, changes about once every 2 minutes. I cannot seem to find a way to reset the time on the vhf, any help would be greatly appreciated .

I have c120 classic

I can’t remember the exact variances but mine is similar. I have a feeling routes show gmt eta and the time is not consistent across some linked units.

I have played to try and resolve but then chose to ignore it.

Never bother with changing from UTC onboard makes reading the almanac a lot easier, no faffing with changing the hour.

Thanks for the replies, I tended to stay UTC last year as well, just thought I would ask the question in case anyone had come across a solution. Its the plotter that keeps changing time, the vhf remains on UTC. I expect the only solution is rather expensive and involves the word Axiom!!!!

But Axiom is so worth it.....just sayin’ ?

Thanks Greg2, yes I know you are right but will have to do some “man maths” to convince the first officer!!!!

The radio is being pedantic and trying to get you in line with the professionals who operate on UTC .
