Timberland...grippy footwear...looks good to me!

I'm sorry but that is one of the ugliest shoes/trainers I have ever seen, are you being paid to get these on here? If so you should be ashamed of yourself. They are UGLY!

Come on, it's a shoe, that's all, just a shoe.

True, but it is an UGLY shoe, there is no excusing it, we should all try not to wear ugly things, especially not ugly shoes. Feet can be very ugly, so we should try to have pleasant looking footware.

If the sole is as chunky as it appears I would be grateful if you would remove them before crossing my teak deck as the marks you will leave last for months as well as wearing down a rather expensive piece of my property.

Yup had a pair as well with the holes. great in the sun, very wet in anything even remotely approahin damp.

Yours have black soles. Banned on my boat. Hanging ofence. Even the supposed "non marking" ones leave marks everywhere.

(Besides you can get stuff like that in the outlet sotores for 1/2 that price.)

Beauty is in th eye of the beholder....seems smart to me but the main thing is the soles feel like they would stick to anything.....a lot more than many so called deck shoes do!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you bother to read the online literature they quote..."non marking sole"...!!!!!! if you think £55 is expensive you must live on a differant planet from me!!!

Bought some Timberland walking boots once. Looked great and so, so comfortable!

Loved them.

Then I went out in the rain and they were LETHAL! Skidded about all over the place. At least they changed them for a pair of their over-priced deck shoes. Still prefer my 'Gill' ones.

I've had good service from Timberland sailing shoes....they do make them...and I used to have a pair like these but in brown when I sailed a dinghy. Timberland USA called them Canoe trainers.....they were very comfortable and grippy but you don't wear them with socks.

I don't wear socks with deck shoes! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Only Moboers seem to around these parts; they must have more money to spend. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
