If so, slide the foil up a few inches and you will see the end of the forestay which has a threaded section that screws into a spigot bolted to the drum. Just rotate the drum so that the threaded section on the forestay goes further in.
Did I say slide the forestay up? just hope you can. The instructions say to do this regularly throughout the season to keep it free and to grease it. If it hasn't been done you may have some grief!
Inside the Rotostay E is a mostly normal bottle screw with lock nuts on both screw threads. The bottom lock nut is easy - you can access it directly. To get to the top lock nut, you need to unwrap all the reefing line off the drum. There is a slot in the drum through which you can poke your spanner. You can use the reefing line guide to turn the body of the bottle screw.

We’ve managed to undo the nut in the slot and with shaking the forestay violently have managed to tighten up a few turns.
