Gilbert Brown taking away a largish cruiser this lunchtime. The coaches don't help much. The escort driver had just got a scaffolding wagon to move and shift their road barriers.
That's a big boat.
As beautiful as Lake Windermere is. I find it hard to understand why you would keep such a large cruiser on the lake. You cold buy a very nice cottage for that.
Lake Windermere is perfect for a small yacht.
There is only one lake in the Lake District and it isn't Windermere
The fuel bills should have been relatively low if the owner stuck to the 10mph speed limit on Windermere.
At 10 knts, if he had any sense he would have sold the two 500hp VP's and installed a 2040, thats all he'd need!
I'd have thought you would have known it was knots. http://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visi...ere/goodtoknowwindermere/windermerespeedlimit and http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-19698785At 10knts he/she would be breaking the speed limit, it's MPH.
Each to their own.
