Tides conwy

Going out of conwy tomorrow morning tide, what's the earliest I could return on evening tide,
Thanks in anticipation

No point in answering without knowing what you draw but googling 'tides conwy' gives you the hw and lw times. Best apply the rule of twelfths iirc

Draft? I've entered Conwy with a 1.1m draft at low water with tomorrow's tidal range. You will get in leaving C2 making 4knts through the water at HW-4hrs with 2m IF you maintain a tight transit between C6 & 8.

Remember that there is a 7 hour ebb at Conway. If you are going in on the flood you can't go wrong, the sandbanks will protect you to the North & you simply have a brew & wait for a bit more water.

I got caught once trying to beat the ebb to get back in & spent the night waiting for the tide to return on a spring many years ago. HM tried to persuade us to abandon ship, but we just laid out the anchor on foot & went to sleep. We woke as she just gently swung to the incoming tide - no problems at all.
