Yesterday, after lunch in Osborne Bay where it was delightful to hear the whoops of joy from the waterkiers, well worth putting up with the efffects of their wash just to hear the little souls enjoying themselves, we sailed back over the Brambles, having a wee look at the new post on the way. It was interesting to see everyone else going out their way to go around the Brambles despite there being no less than 4Metres anywhere over it. Is it cos peeps are just too lazy to work out tidal heights or just caution?

Beware Jimi - one of those new posts is not a navigation mark - it is the top of the mast of a Sunsail boat /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

No; they're just nervous about losing their rudders............

Waterskiers are, indeed, cheerful souls and it delights the spirit to be an unwitting participant in their little japes. However, to be fair, the Eastern end of Osborne Bay is marked as a designated waterskiing area, and I dare say they all took great care to stay within its bounds? /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
