Our thruster batterys 24 volt are only charged from the port engine as far as I can tell ,we have a Volvo multipoint isolator 70 amps, connected to main batterys, thruster batterys and alternator ,
Have now got a Victron Skylla-i 24/100 (3) battery charger with one spare outlet,
Looking to connect thruster batterys to new charger, as the Volvo multipoint isolator is close to the charger, is it possible to connect charger to multipoint thruster terminal ,as thruster batterys are some distance away,
Hope this make sense

You can do but consider the battery charger may not see the "real" battery voltage as there could be some voltage drop factor depending on length and size of thruster wires.

Thanks for the reply , will see if can get a new supply down to the batterys, failing that the thruster battery isolation switch is about half distance , could connect onto that using 50mm2 cable , just wanted to keep them topped up when boat not in use.

In this scenario it would be prudent to configure the alternator from machine sensed to battery sensed.
