Hi

Please does anyone know the manufacturer of the attached photo throttle/gear lever from my 1990 Dehler 34. unfortunately, I can not depress the middle button to disengage from drive. The engine is a cold start and has to be started with lever in full throttle position.

The pin has sheared and it also lookes as though the nylon bush that is on the reverse of the unit has become worn/damaged over time. I can not get the handle off without damaging the plastic facia, the material is alluminium and appears pretty much solid.

Are there replaceable or repairable thanks. The foil label is worn, it reads ?????? Controls

Teleflex type - several different makers but all the same principle. There will be a grub screw locking the handle onto the spindle which is splined. It may be seized on but should respond to penetrating oil. The button mechanism which disengages the gear to use the throttle only is probably seized as well. needs cleaning and regreasing. You will see how the mechanism works at the back.

Morse Teleflex. There is one on Ebay which might be cheaper than a repair as they can be quite fiddly and difficult when they get old.
