Just had a teleflex red jacket cable break after 2 six month seasons. It's mounted on a Volvo throttle the design of which induces slight bending loads in the end of the inner where it joins the linkage. The previous one was at least 10 years old. The installation was correct and linkage well greased and free and loads very light. I was wondering if there is a quality problem. Anyone else experienced short life in these cables. Any reccomendations for an alternative brand.
