Three men in a boat

available on BBC iPlayer, not the comedians one, but one filmed in 1975 !

Haven't watched it yet, but may try to later:

Three Men in a Boat
This was broadcast a few days ago - probably on BBC4.

It is obviously very condensed to get the entire trip into 90 minutes but I thought it was fairly true to the spirit of the book and you wouldn't want it to be any longer.

I wasn't entirely sure how many of the shots were actually on The Thames, I recognised a few but others didn't look like any part of the river I know.

We watched it on BBC4 a few days ago and quite enjoyed the cast as it was still current well known names.

Most of it looked like it was shot upstream as they had to avoid all the recent 20th Century development.

Reminded me of current times and good humour from the lead characters.

Bloody steamers they get everywhere and very educational as to the use of traditional boats for sleeping etc
