Looks like this years three counties boat jumble has bitten the dust. Its usually this or next weekend but not in this years fixtures. Not a large surprise, It has been shrinking year on year . Shame as I always class it as the start of the season for me.

Hi Steve

Agree it has sadly went down year after year,, years ago it was a good day out with stalls outside and three halls full inside.
I went last year and it barley covered two halls (nothing outside) and I was finished in just over an hour and I would guess maybe 150 car visitors at best

Are jumbles in high concentrated sailing areas of the country still doing well?
I did go to one in an old fort last year at Portsmouth (worse possible place to hold a boat jumble especially for folk who buy large items and cannot collect them until the jumble closes) but thats another story

The smaller jumbles are not long fur this world I fear. Even Beaulieu was noticably smaller last year!
