I often read threads in flat mode so I can read the posts in chronoligical order, however whats threaded mode?
and anyway that button is greyed on my screen does'nt work. Byron will probably say its my old browser.

"The Med has got me" (no not the Medway the other Med)

Threaded Mode is when only the subjects are listed, with the replys to a message
listed underneath in descending date order. The threaded option greys out
when you are in that mode. (I think)

Hope this helps

What version browser are you using?

Netscape 4.61 But flat mode list the posts in date order too?

"The Med has got me" (no not the Medway the other Med)

Ahhh, netscape, well someone must i suppose.

The difference is that flat mode is ascending order for all posts, Threaded mode
is in descening order grouped by response to a message.

I that any clearer?

BTW, i am glad your crown is now ok. I think broom crowns are excellent
cannot wait until i can afford one!!! The boat behind me is a crown and its much
better than the broom 41 at the end of our moorings even though is 20 years
older.

In the user options menu it gives the option of veiwing the threads either flat ot threaded. Its quicker to read them in flat mode anyway, less clicking!

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

My Crowns for sale yer know.

nee naw

oh yes you *are* trying to sell the boat!

However, if Clive can promise that the actual value of the boat is only £200, and the remaining £79,800 is just a miscellaneous rip-off charge on top, I think that's within the rules as stipulated.
