Threaded bar battery mount

As a simple method of fitting our battery bank, we are just going to drill a hole through the centre of each battery and fit a studded bar to the floor.
We might save space by using a longer bar and putting one battery on top of the other.
I thought we could also save drilling if we put a point on the studding, then just gave it a hammer till it pierced the battery, then wind it through like a big Tap. :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

Make sure, when you are moving the batteries around, to hold them by the round metal handles on the top surface :encouragement: Particularly helpful when you are lowering batteries into position.

Make sure you electrically bond the lock nut to the rest of the skin fittings and on to the big round knob marked with a "+" on the battery.

I'd leave it in the bilge for a couple of days. It should clean up the keel bolts nicely!
