Loctite Blue. is about right as you can undo it OK a couple of months later
Do NOT use loctite red as it is extremely difficult to undo & I have had to use heat to get it undone
If you go on the loctite site it should tell you
There are cheaper alternatives, but a bottle of the stuff lasts so long it is irrelevant over the long term

Interesting - never used anything on anode bolts and never had even a hint of them coming loose.

I use 243 it’s blue .

On the prop shaft end anodes .

They spin outwards like most shafts .

So the Port is trying to undo itself in Fwds and manoeuvring in the marina the Stb in R .

The zinc obviously shrinks as time goes by .Despite the 243 I find them esp the Port one coming loose after a few months .
Its easy in the Med ( warm ) to tighten them up .I regularly check them after about 4 months .
The bolts are very long .

Don’t use it for static anodes .
