Thorneycroft Engines

Friend of mine is looking at a 23ft boat which has a 4 cylinder thorneycroft engine. As neither he or I know anything about these engines I would appreciate any info available.
Are they still in production, availability of spares and technical assistance. These are the kind of things I would like to know.

I have a Thorneycroft T80 in my boat. I have used ASAP supplies for the bits l needed, think they carry most parts. As other poster said check out Thornycroft site as well. They rattle and clatter a bit but it seems to keep going. Phil

Try AMC it is the spares side of Thornycroft. you may find a link on the Thornycroft site and they do manuals too
