I have just spent 2 days trying to bleed the fuel system on a Thorneycroft 108. I turned up at the boat, fired up the engine, no heaters used and started on the key after sitting 6 weeks, it ran fo about 90 seconds and then stopped. Will not fire at all. Changed the fuel filter which was OK in any event, and have bled the system times many. Still getting air out of the HP pump and non to the injectors. I was going to add that the filter is on ok but won't rule it out. Why will it start run for such a short time and now not run. Tank is half full. Cancelled my two week Thames cruise and booked an engineer for next week. Any suggestions as to the problem and the cure?
