Thorneycroft 108 oil problem

Hi all

My engine seems to have stopped circulating oil through the filter. Before winterising the oil filter remained cold when the engine was up to normal running temperature, after oil change and new filter same problem engine runs as normal filter remains cold oil pressure is good throughout.

Has anyone else had this problem and / or knows the cure.

There is a bypass to allow the oil to circulate if the filter is completely blocked. Could this be jammed?
