Anyone heading cross channel,
Cherbourg is great,
Channel Islands is a must do at least once,
St Malo is a lovely walled city with great beach.
Trebeurden is a get away from it all, with an interesting entrance. Scarey when tide out.

West coast so many place to go.
so come on tell what are your ambitions this year.

Belle Isle, Houat, Isle Groix, Aury, Nantes and La Rochelle are on the itinery.

Oh, just noticed I have strayed into Motor Boat forum! But no reason you can't visit any of these places. :encouragement:

That sounds great, love La Rochelle was there on my dads boat years ago, and zoomed past the other places you mentioned. if you do loads of pics please.

Alderney and Guernsey for us albeit fishing plus the usual solent haunts definitely Weymouth/Portland and maybe Dartmouth. If the weather stays like it is we may have to settle for a few trips around Poole Harbour

We're going to venture out of Lake Solent a bit more, hopefully a summer jaunt westward to Salcombe with any luck.
