I have also heard of using the hottest chilli powder working.I heard of a canny scotsman who puts weedkiller in his antifoul ?????????? A tip for getting barnicles off is using a cheap bleach spray far easier than using a scrapper,another tip from another canny scotsman

Because The boat's over 200 miles away and I need to get a job to finance next year!

My boat came out of the water today. I gave her one coat of Nautical (made by International, now branded Akzo Nautical) before she went in - in May, a bit later than usual.

There were no barnacles whatsoever and indeed no fouling of any sort, save a bit of slimy stuff around the waterline. Everything more than six inches or so underwater was completely clean.
