hmmmmmmm..... this weekend, whilst cleaning the boat, I noticed that some scum bag has hit the boat on the port side by the aft cockpit. Whatever it was (probably an anchor) ripped through the canopy before gouging out the gel coat in 2 places.

There was no way that the skipper would have not known that he hit me, but did he leave a note? NO!!, did he tell the harbour office? NO!!...he just left me to pick up the bill for his mistake!!

Utter W*NKER!!!!

The joys of life in a marina...I wonder if anyone saw the culprit? You may just get a tip off if you ask around, just because you didn't see doesn't mean nobody else did.

Still a p1sser though eh!

If it was a visitor, surely the harbour office have a record of anyone mooring in your vicinity whilst you were absent? If it was a berth holder, it would be worthwile checking any boats nearby for evidence

Its very sad when your pride and joy gets damaged, particularly when it isnt your fault. I have always said that you can be as carefull as is possible but you have no say in what happens to your boat by the hand of other people, even if your onboard at the time. Definetely out of order not to own up.
