At the end of last March we had a minor heatwave in Scotland
... though it didn't last all that long.
After this evil blast from the east over the next few days, mid next week looks like the weather will drift round to even colder Northerlies.
Maybe not much precipitation then - other than over the north of Scotland, but it will be cold everywhere. The Jet stream which usually sends us milder low pressure systems is more or less stuck over Spain and into the Med, so it looks like we're getting Arctic air for a while yet.
I was hoping for some sailing at Easter, but I'm beginning to wonder if I have enough warm gear for the job!!
Spring? some time closer to May??
