Unfortunately, have totally failed to make it to the Deben which I desperately wanted to do, but I think most would agree that it was an impossible task in the circumstances. In a way I feel I've let down those that have helped with contributions, but take my word for it, they will be much appreciated when I do make it.
Will hopefully make it out into the Wash over winter, intending to head South for a look around next season
Unfortunately this also buggers up other plans, but that's life

Finish the six month paint and polish on the tired old Sadler 32 I bought two years ago this month ! Turned into major restoration (to me anyway!) and is still in the yard at the end of the Deben where she was towed for her re spray. Have never sailed her and watch this forum with envy at all the fun everyone is having ! Thought I would finally make a post as I thoroughly enjoy reading this particular forum especially. There is light at the end of the tunnel though, and with only the re-wire to go, she will be in the water and sailing at the start of next season, probably moored at Waldringfield.

Good to hear from you and welcome to the madhouse, plenty of us been/going through what you're going through now, keep plodding away at it and hope to see you out there some day soon

My boat is work in progress. Long list of jobs but sailing takes preference! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Would be interested to hear how you get on rewiring. Something I have been putting off for ages but think the time is fast approacing when it will become a must!

I do not have a clue when it comes to wiring, but have a friend who does thank goodness! He has given me a list of items to purchase, and is sourcing the rest himself. Will try and pass on anything useful if it makes any sense! Sorry!
