Just to let you all know, there have been a number of boats that have been broken into on Tollesbury saltings. It appears that they are coming in by dinghy, and getting in to some boats by removing the top of the Ventair ventilator on the fore hatch, this allows them to then reach in and open the hatch.
The ventair is normally attached with self tappers, but are easily changed for through bolts.
