Was just about to order 2 books from Bookharbour.com (Kelvin Hughes)... got right the way through selecting them, adding them to the basket, and then...... the delivery charge...

£23.45 to deliver two books!!!!!!!!!!!

You're right about the postal charges, however if you are in Southampton the shop is a gold mine and the staff very knowledgable. It's my first port of call for navving stuff. And you cna park right outside (if you can find the shop in the first place...)
