For about 30 quid, you can get a 'mechless' car radio, with a slot for a USB stick for stored music and probably a Bluetooth connection to feed it from a phone.

I bought one for a car about 10 years ago, I think it came with the cage. And possibly the multi-way connector forthe speakers, power etc.
Something that 'just works' even when you want to conserve the battery on your phone, or you've got no stored music on it can be a good thing.

A quick look at ebay shows they're down to under 15 quid now, they've stopped calling them mechless, cos CD mechs are for old people, let alone cassette.
