Short trip to Yarmouth today, just ahead of the snow. Managed to whack myself in the face with a fender. Geez, I thought I'd broken my nose. Actually, I still do think I've broken my nose. :) Blood all over the place.

Anyhoo, saw a few boats. Pulled up next to an SC35 in Yarmouth. The more I see these, the more I like them. Nice big Sunseeker ahead of me on the way home to Lymington.

Ice on the edge of the Lymington river.

Alas I was too stunned or slow-witted to take any pix after the self-inflicted blow. Also, I don't think the internet needs another mugshot of me.

The ice looked a bit like this library shot, though:

That would have been us! Spent the night over in Yarmouth in our SC35! Next time, come and say hi :)

Well thank you. Your boat looked a $million. Yesterday I was just having a bit of a nose around in Yarmouth harbour and didn't have time to stop. You might have noticed an Aqua Star turning round in front of where you were berthed. Actually, I'm so considerate that there would have been no wash and minimal sound :D But, if you had looked up you might have seen a funny-looking chap with a slightly red nose at the wheel and a teenager in a hoodie hunched over a laptop at the aft end of the saloon.

Come on you have to tell us how you managed to whack yourself with a fender?

Laziness. It's a lesson to us all. I couldn't be bothered to put the fenders away for such a short trip so I swung them over the guardrail. Sadly one was swung with considerable pace on it and my face in the trajectory. :D

What a nice thing to say, thank you, we are very proud of it! We did spot you and actually had a little discussion as to why you (very quietly :) ) came in to the harbour, turned round and then went back out again - small world!

Hope the nose is feeling better!
