Thefts on Lower Medway

To all concerned. Lock up your valuables as have just received mail from my club (Pelican) that both us and RCC have been hit since around 24th July. They appear to be attacking craft from the river pinching outboards whether locked or not, and even diesel left lying in boats in cans. Anything unusual please report to the authorities.

Strood YC had thefts of diesel from moored boats early this year. Usually 200 litres at a time. Also other stuff gone.
There have been thefts of dinghies and outboards all down the river. Three scumbags were caught brazenly stealing an outboard at Queenborough

Nothing over the "nice" side of the river to date regards this problem.

However reports of 4 or five cars having their electrical wiring nibbled by rats ?? in club car park , owners now in dispute with suppling dealers.
All newish vehicles, so not problem likely to afflict any mode of transport owned by OG.
All to do with Soya !
