The ongiong saga of the smelly Four Winns has taken a turn for the better.

On Friday I decided to finish the "toilet hose job", I sent SWMBO of shopping and set to it.

The sun was shining and there was a good wind blowing all the nasty niffs away, the engine bay was open and then the fun began. Now I am on the rotund side so wedging myself in amongst the engine and other bits was nery painful, I have the cuts and bruises to prove it.

Anyway its done and at last the good ship Ballena has a sweet smelling engine bay so its safe for anyone who wants to come aboard for a drink at Mercury next week.

Please let me know if you have had similar experiences!!!

When we came here to this old school the sewer system was blocked right through cos the small cottage next door is rarely used so over the years of dereliction all the solids just slowly backed up the whole lot.
Over a two week period and 7 drain rods sets later I got it cleared through to the small sewer works across the field .
Proper black stuff it was like a marshmallow but once under the skin oh my god you could puke while shovelling it, the stench stayed for weeks.
The weird thing was big slugs lived in it uuuuuurrrrrrrrrr uuuuupppppp ...

cheers
Mick
